Light-siders fear Dark-siders and vice versa, it's all got its roots from religous dualism which views dark/evil as not of God/The Creator/The Divine etc. There are people out there who think the opposite side should be hunted down and killed for their "side" e.g contract, preferably in some grand and final conflict between Good/Light and Evil/Dark - Harmageddon etc, but this will never happen if true enlightenment touches us all.

Since we live in a dynamic existence today we have trouble imaginening a non-dynamic existence, which might not even exist in any form or level, just more well-balanced ones. We have to come to a point in existance where love outweighs hate and joy and happiness, sorrow and sadness... Where pleasure is greater than suffering. At least, that will do for me.

Dear Maniel,

By definition fear is fright and flight. So what exactly are we fleeing from? My concept is it is ourselves. Within each of us is both infinite love and infinite darkness. The choice is ours as God given for free will. So do we flee from our enormous power of love or something else. Why does the darkness bother us? Maybe because we are possible co-creators and cannot accept the responsibility of such. We have the capacity to manifest desires, so be they good or evil, is the choice!

Fear can have lots of different reasons, sure, we can fear ourselves sometimes when we become unsure of who we are, or what we are and potentially could/can be. Other/fellow humans notion of what we should be like, who we should be, what is ok or not also creates fear if we find out that we aren't those things, or doesn't wants to be.

So, what I'm trying to say is that if we want to be free of this type of fear we have to stop thinking in terms of okey/good and/or not okey/bad. Today we do that to people all around us on numerous occasions.

I also think fear originates from the absence of truth and knowledge, we fear what is unknown to us, that which are (or makes us) uncertain. And how can anyone be certain about anything these days? I mean, you can paint a lovely image of our future with charisma and a bucket of projected certainty, but if it holds any truth remains to be experienced.

And besides, darkness doesn't bother me any longer but my capacity to manifest desires do.

whe have ALL love inside us only thing is to notice it and yes LOVE and LIGHT are to of a kind and can never ever be faced out no matter what happens*s* to fear or to be affraid well whe have to say to us selfs that whe just shall think about ALL that LOVE and GUD and other people really are GIVING us I feel loved and have so much gratitude for those who gives all that love it all comes from the same source right*s* so you are right to in YOUR wisdom and I read what you and some others have to say and are learning for that I am so gratefull fore

Fear is the opposite of everything you are, and so has an effect of opposition to your mental and physical health. Fear is worry magnified.
Worry, hate, fear - together with their offshoots:
anxiety, bitterness, impatience, avarice, unkindness, jusgementalness, and condemnation-all attack the body at the cellular level. It is impossible to have health body with these conditions.

I guess it depends on how you define fear. To me, fear is something that paralyzes you, while being sceared, sharpens you attention and focus.....heh...I know, it is a bit black and white but it was only for the purpose of illustration.

I'll ive you a xample from real life, a couple of years ago, I was at a skiing resort, and me, I am not a early bird, so I got to the slopes quite late in the afternoon...heh he...and since I dont pay too much attention sometimes, I just headed for the nearest lift, xited at the top, and threw myself down the closest slope....which turned out to be a 5 km downhill of the worst kind....lol heh he he hehehe

And as I mentioned, it was late in the afternoon, so the sun has started it's decent behind treetop's and mountains, wich resulted in a colder weather which turned the earlier powdery snow into ice.......and I was racing down going increasingly faster, my skis were jumping and hammering all over the place because of the icy surface....and I ain't lying when I'm telling you that I was afraid......I was so sceared I damned myself if I should fall, so I was quite focused on keeping myself on my feet......luckily, I was not gripped with fear, then I might have "frozen" up, gone off track or hit a tree, or just fallen which surely would have hurt like a son of a gun....ice, 65 miles an hour and no protection...that has got to hurt. :-D

As I was picking up speed down the hill, I was so afraid I actually got so focused that I did all the "right things"...I was almost like a pro...lol...which I'm not, I hadn't been skiing since childhood for christ sake, and here I was, first trip in yeeeeaaars, just casually racing down the icy hill in a million miles an hour....freaking great...lol

So, the moral of the story, being afraid is good, fear is not! Being afraid sharpens your senses while fear paralyzes you and prevents you doing "the right things".

You can see it in other situations too, let's say you fear writing (because of how it will be received), that might prevent you from writing, and you'll never know.
On the other hand, you might be afraid of writing, that will "force" you to write the best you can, and that little xtra might be what makes it worth reading compared to other's..........

Same thing with music, your fears may prevent you from performing or creating your own songs, while being afraid will make you put in that little xtra "something"...I'm always nervous (afraid) before a live performance, but it evaporates as soon as the show has started, just like my ski trip, it transformes into focus, but unlike that skiing thing, performing usually doesn't cause bodily harm, so it turns into pure joy after a fairly short time, for me, 2'nd or 3'rd song and I'm already gone.....I'm somewhere else....lol

I digressed....what was the point? Maybe there wasn't a point....yea yea...NO FEAR!!!!!!!!

maybe you are right on that well have not thougt as it like that have always thought that to be affraid and to fear something whas one and same thing*s* cant say my fear has gone tottally well i am more in the state of affraidness*s* but it HAS become a bit easier now*s*
