ITS TIME TO BECOME VEGETARIAN!

Cows are gentle giants, large in size but sweet in nature. They are curious, clever animals who have been known to go to amazing lengths to escape from slaughterhouses. These very social animals prefer to spend their time together, and they form complex relationships, very much like dogs.

Like all animals, cows form strong maternal bonds with their children, and on dairy farms and cattle ranches, mother cows can be heard crying out for their calves for days after they are separated.

In the U.S., more than 41 million of these sensitive animals suffer and die for the meat and dairy industries every year. When they are still very young, cows are burned with hot irons (branding), their testicles are ripped out of their scrotums (castration), and their horns are cut or burned off—all without painkillers. Once they have grown big enough, they are sent to massive, muddy feedlots to be fattened for slaughter or to dairy farms, where they will be repeatedly impregnated and separated from their calves until their bodies give out and they are sent to die.
Calves raised for veal are kept in stalls so small that they can't even turn around.

Calves raised for veal are kept in stalls so small that they can’t even turn around.

Cattle raised for beef are usually born in one state, fattened in another, and slaughtered in yet another. They are transported hundreds of miles in all weather extremes to the slaughterhouse. Many cows die on the way to slaughter, and those who survive are shot in the head with a bolt gun, hung up by their legs, and taken onto the killing floor, where their throats are cut and they are skinned. Some cows remain fully conscious throughout the entire process—according to one slaughterhouse worker, in an interview with the Washington Post, “they die piece by piece.”

I further acknowledge and accept that nothing - opinions, levels of awareness and awakening, habits and conditioning, choice options - is permanent and unchanging. At any moment we each can increase our own frequency of vibration. We can each realize at any moment that, as we accept things as they now are, things can change. We can change our opinions. We can change our choices for how we live our lives. We can realize that our choices have consequences and results or effects or outcomes. We can realize that we wish to make choices that have better outcomes (or consequences) for our families, our friends, our human kin, our kindred living and radiating beings throughout our planet and throughout the universe. For each person, information on new options for choices is always close at hand. When a person is "ready", that person will suddenly realize the availability of new options and choices. So, rather that defend the opinions we each now hold, is it not better to look to each discussion as an opportunity to become aware of, to realize, new options and new choices that may overall be better for all living and radiant beings? It is true that I am vegan by choice - and have been for nearly 40 years. Do I ignore the writings of fellow members and travellers here in The Ashtar Command? Do I argue with the opinions of fellow members and travellers and radiant beings? Or, do I realize and become aware of new insights I can gain about myself and how I interact with others ("plays well with others" is a favorite "grade" in the primary grades of schooling)? Must I be swayed by the opinions of others to give up being vegan? Or can I realize new things about myself as I read and understand ("Grok" - google it) each person's energy and awareness as presented in their writings (and accept, without judgement and without agreement or disagreement)? We are all here for intentions we have set forth in each of our lives - and many of our individual intentions mesh into a larger intention for the betterment of all living and radiant beings.

Blessings and Love, Joy and Peach, and Light Always!

I heard from a video about not eating meat because it contains fear energy. I didn't see the importance of it and didn't really understand it until just later on as I continued to meditate and focus on love and positivity. Animals do feel fear when they're threatened and this is sadly contained when they're slaughtered. Since then I have cut down on meat immeasurably and have seen the results of it. Not only do you avoid health risks but your focus and concentration becomes clearer in the process.

I don't think beliefs here were imposing but rather were just presenting an urgent plea to try and make us think of doing things another way that will help animals and at the same time help ourselves. For me, I do want to eventually become vegetarian by my own freewill. Thanks Ben c",)

We are all Vibrational Beings. You're like a receiving mechanism that when you set your tuner to the station, you're going to hear what's playing. Whatever you are focused upon is the way you set your tuner, and when you focus there for as little as 17 seconds, you activate that vibration within you. Once you activate a vibration within you, Law of Attraction begins responding to that vibration, and you're off and running--whether it's something wanted or unwanted.
- Abraham

This particular subject (17 seconds) gives us concern. If we concentrate on anything good or bad, it starts the "Law of Attraction." We can attract anything to us by just concentrating on something for 17 seconds. That is amazing. Very powerful, we are. Lots of responsibility comes with that power.

Ok. Love to all....

natural and essential on the path to remembering our Human Divinity, is the love of all life forms, and the allowance of them to live as free as we so choose.

How awful! Poor Cows and poor humans who are doing this to the animals, I hope that this will help some of those who´s watching this to be more aware about whats happening in the slaughterhouse.
Í wasn´t aware of this before.

Interesting discussions here indeed! And please remember to bless your food - yes, your thoughts or "blessing" will and does alter (enhance your food) and this is even more important to do if you happen to be eating out and of course are not aware of who made your meal and what state of mind they were in when they were handling your food.

Now there's some food for thought!

Me and my family already are 9 years vegetarian, if i count the animals we saved them then I think this is the only way to solve this disaster. We don't need any meat to survive in our (luxery) society, the money they put in raising animals can be used for solving the real poverty in our world.

So this is the way we murder our brothers? At least when the natives killed it was done with respect to the animals soul. I am not vegetarian but i have considered it. I think this just about locks my decision in. Its going to be a process of letting go but let go i will.

OK think its time to stop drinking milk, others don't see the truth in there selves and tend to hurt that one which they really are. Even if this looks really bad, try to see the good in it. People like these teach us a valuable lesson, because of their actions their unable to see the truth and experience freedom. All in all brothers and sisters, through ones true consciousness and many bodies lets awaken are self in the whole, be free to enjoy all are states and suffer from non.
