ITS TIME TO BECOME VEGETARIAN!

Cows are gentle giants, large in size but sweet in nature. They are curious, clever animals who have been known to go to amazing lengths to escape from slaughterhouses. These very social animals prefer to spend their time together, and they form complex relationships, very much like dogs.

Like all animals, cows form strong maternal bonds with their children, and on dairy farms and cattle ranches, mother cows can be heard crying out for their calves for days after they are separated.

In the U.S., more than 41 million of these sensitive animals suffer and die for the meat and dairy industries every year. When they are still very young, cows are burned with hot irons (branding), their testicles are ripped out of their scrotums (castration), and their horns are cut or burned off—all without painkillers. Once they have grown big enough, they are sent to massive, muddy feedlots to be fattened for slaughter or to dairy farms, where they will be repeatedly impregnated and separated from their calves until their bodies give out and they are sent to die.
Calves raised for veal are kept in stalls so small that they can't even turn around.

Calves raised for veal are kept in stalls so small that they can’t even turn around.

Cattle raised for beef are usually born in one state, fattened in another, and slaughtered in yet another. They are transported hundreds of miles in all weather extremes to the slaughterhouse. Many cows die on the way to slaughter, and those who survive are shot in the head with a bolt gun, hung up by their legs, and taken onto the killing floor, where their throats are cut and they are skinned. Some cows remain fully conscious throughout the entire process—according to one slaughterhouse worker, in an interview with the Washington Post, “they die piece by piece.”

Apparently you choose to continue your existence with the choice to have harm and violence as part of the preferred order of things for you. That is your choice. A fruitarian does not even harm the plant, but only takes what fruits (and seeds) the plant naturally disperses into the natural surrounds near them (including birds, rodents, mamals, and aquatic life forms). A fruitarian chooses to be in a life lived without harm and violence of any nature! I can tell by the nature of Henry's message that he is still harboring harm and violence in and around him. That is Henry's choice.

i suggest you read "The essene gospel of peace book 1" for a spiritual perspective on the consumption of meat.

http://www.creationsmagazine.com/articles/C108/Cousens.html
and here is a quick scientific view on what too much protein (mainly animal protein) can do to you. and thats just touching on what the protein in the meat does there are still many other factors that say meat isnt good.
also the fear animals feel before being killed is stored in the energy of the meat
here is a scientific view on how that works. http://www.whatthebleep.com/crystals/

when you consume foods that have the energy of fear and pain then you also become filled with that energy and spiritually i dont think its ideal that you eat the energy of fear and death.

I support you, my Friend. The whole thing has been magnified and this forum is being misused in order to to domineer others.

"Enough plants and water to feed more than a dozen people is fed to livestock to produce a single meal for a meat-eating human. I'm no mathematician, but I'm guessing if we weren't breeding and feeding the world's 55 billion farm animals, we'd solve the human hunger crisis in approximately four-and-a-half minutes. Not to mention that animal agriculture accounts for the majority of water and soil degradation, contributes more to global warming than all transportation combined, and is responsible for virtually all of the rainforest destruction on the planet. Farmed animals in the U.S. alone create 86,000 pounds of excrement per second, and none of it goes through sewage treatment plants. The damage that commercial fishing has done to the oceans cannot even be accurately measured because it is hidden from view, but experts estimate that between 40 to 70 percent of ocean life has been eliminated by commercial fishing in the last 100 years, and as many as 90 percent of large fish are gone, probably forever."

That is just the tip of the ice-berg of how utterly ridiculous and dangerous the meat ,dairy and fishing industry is to the earth.

This was not easy to watch. It was appalling, actually....Very sad that we have not evolved beyond the need to treat fellow creatures this way. I know that in this dimension and as physical beings we have to eat, but we don't have to do this for food.

Thanks for the post

to be vegetarian is a first step :cruelty is also in intensive chicken industry, for eggs or flesh, the same for fishes
to be vegan is the best
but,it is important to take conscious of all cruelties :animal testing, circus, aso
and to buy bio

I totally agree with your opinion. It is not a matter of being vegetarian or not, but how do you deal with life. Cruelty does not have any justification.

But becoming vegetarian or eating meat as little as possible. I once read that only a few ounces per two weeks are needed to stay healthy if you have a carnivore-aura.

Our governments should forbid these kinds of practises, but they are as cruel as these people. As a 'solidarity with nature protest' it would be very good to refuse to buy meat and diary-products as much as possible for one year. Economy would feel this. It saves the consument a lot of money and he/she can become healthier too.

So we can only hope that humankind will become life - and galaxy worthy some day.

Thank you so much Ben Arion for sending this link.
I am a physician and I have studied the consequences of veganism for health for years.
No doubt, veganism is the healthiest diet that ever exists!
And of course, it is the best thing to do for animals, environment and spirituality.
All this negative energy due to the incredible animals' sufferings is a disaster first for animals of course and second, for our own soul and body. It is also a disaster for the environment as meat industry is a major source of global warming.
Milk industry kills every cow and veal they make born for milk production. It is a daily nightmare for animals and we should stop that.
So, to stop drinking milk and to stop eating meat is the only way to stop this awful cruelty. To drink soy milk instead is a solution.
If you don't know how to become a vegan, check this excellent link made by doctors:

Becoming a vegan is one of the best thing I ever did in my life. Veganism is so helpful for everyone: ourselves, animals and planet Earth. http://www.goveg.com

As I have been vegan for many, many years, I ask this for others seeking to access choice in their lives and have access to becoming vegan as well. The links provide much that will be helpful for those who are ready and are awakening.

Thank you. Blessings and Love, Joy and Peace, and Light Always!

I became vegetarian when I started 3 years ago to see the animal. So I decided to stop eating meat, fish and seafoods. Since then I just eat fruits, vegetables, nuts ect.... I still eat eggs and milk foods for now. I know the eggs were not fertilized so it's different and milk is a gift from cows, goats.
Thank you for posting this. Hope it will help people see the effect of eating animals.
Namasté.
