What happened to the moon and two extremelly bright stars next to it?

Last night i was tripin on the moon and how it looked. There were also two very very bright lights beside it in perfect geometrical alignment. My friend and i noticed that the lights beside the moon were movign and making changes in the light patters. We went into the bar and when we came out and hour later they were all gone. This was supprising to me. I still have no explenation for what happened. the lights on the side of the moon were so bright too. If they were stars. they would have not dissapered when the moon did. I understand the moon travels fast but stars generally stay in the same spot. these stars were also waaay to bright. Im not sure what it was but the lights were obviosly not stars. take a look for yourslef. I am in San Diego and can see them clearly and have been for the last week or so. Very magical. they get closer every night. Awesome times
