Thanks for your reassurance! I appreciate your feedback. I feel like I can come to you guys for anything, which I can't say the same about my siblings/relatives etc.

When sexual energies are exchanged, especially when there is a exchange of fluids, you take in the other persons energies into your body.
If you "mix" different persons sexual energies in your body, (as when making physical love to one person, then another, and then again with the first one), you are creating an inner energy confusion, and the connecting vibrations you had with your lover will gradually be dissolved.
To keep a physical love relation healthy, you need to focus your sexual energies to only that person, and not spread your sexual fluids.
But love can be shared with hugs and with kisses without fluidal exchanges (think about how we kiss children and sisters and brothers and parents, we all know where the line is...), and love is never wrong.

And you are right about marriages, it is obsolete.

Wow, thanks for that information. Some of it I had heard before and was thus hopping to confirm it here. Those are some good points which will probably greatly affect where we go with this, if we go anywhere, haha! Thanks for chiming in.

Micah, Have you read "Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch?

The premise is (in case you haven't read these books) a real conversation between God and Neale, whereby Neale asks just about every imaginable question that humans have wanted to know about life. Neale does ask about sex - quite a bit. The books can be thought of as channeled material- Neale channeling God. It is absolutely fascinating and so incredibly enlightening that everyone should read them. It does take a certain level of awareness for a person to be able to believe and absorb all of the info in there, which is why I am sure you will enjoy them.

God and Neale talk about sex in Book 2 Chapters 7-8 (p.74-108) They also talk about "open marriage" in Book 3 on pp.203-204 - but you should read around this area in the book to absorb the whole discussion.

Since you are under self-proclaimed "New Enlightened Circumstances" you will find many great bits of information about life in these book that I highly, highly recommend. As far as I am concerned these books are a spiritual must read.

Book 1 is about personal truths
Book 2 is about global truths
Book 3 is about universal truths

Even though this is the general organization of the books, each book has a little bit of everything.

I pass this along because I believe there you will find, as I did, some very wise answers.

Hi i just wanted to comment that your post is not affensive and that it is a honest question,to which my self is exploring,I too have had this question in mind for a while,and although im no longer married its still a subject we all need guidance and understanding with,as there does not seem to be any education when grownig up passed on to us as a spiritual teaching,we have all learnt from our enviorement we have been exsposed to,I am reading Dr wayne Dyers book on this subject and it at least does answer some questions in this area of thought,he says that any fluids exchanged stays within our energy field and that we have permanent connectioons to pertain to such a experience,I have always felt that making love is a sacred exsperience and that there has to be more than a sex experience,as kalindi has already commented to this,my explorations in life have been an interesting observasion and fun,so i wish you and your wife blessing and pray for you for guidance in your jouney with this subject,Gobless Gaye

This is not offensive at all. I'm sure alot of us wonder whether these things are right. And the truth is, no one can tell because in this time and space, there is no right or wrong, only opinions. So everthings a shade of grey. Only you can decide what you feel is right.
